My Story

I'm raising money for FORCE Cancer Charity

Some of you may remember 3 years ago myself and some wonderful friends completed the Nello charity ride and raised funds for the Force cancer charity with me dressed as a policeman on a 1950s cast iron police bike.

Little did I know that less than a year later I would be diagnosed with stomach cancer.

I underwent several courses of chemotherapy and had my stomach removed. My treatment was incredible and I am so grateful to all those in Exeter and Plymouth who were involved in my care.

I'm glad to say so far things are looking positive and last year with some amazing friends, we finally fulfilled a long held ambition to cycle up Alpe dHuez!

I have first hand experience of the wonderful help that Force provide, so am hoping to raise a few quid again!

This year, my friends and I will be entering on bikes that have cost us no more than £50 just to make things interesting. In addition, I am only juts recovering from a broken leg sustained in February so it should be a challenge!!

Please support us and this amazing charity.
